Describe the purpose.
Record what the goal is for and who it is for. Two education goals can have different beneficiaries, dates and costs; keeping them separate makes that context visible.

A goal starts with what matters to you. Organising a few details can make the next conversation more useful.

Record what the goal is for and who it is for. Two education goals can have different beneficiaries, dates and costs; keeping them separate makes that context visible.
Note a target date or range. If you have a cost estimate, record whether it is in today’s prices or a future quote and when you received it. If you do not know, record that you need help estimating.
Identify any savings or ongoing contributions you associate with the goal. Highlight resources shared with other goals so that the same money is not counted twice.
You may have flexibility in the date, amount or priority. Write down the questions you want to discuss. An estimate is a starting point to review, not a commitment or guarantee.
